Latest Entertainment: Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah’s Coachman Debate about Difficulty Meeting Children

Sarwendah responded to a statement from Ruben Onsu who said he had stopped providing support because it was difficult to meet the children. Through his attorney, Chris Sam Siwu, this accusation was firmly denied and deemed not to be in accordance with the facts that occurred.
Chris emphasized that Sarwendah never complained about the maintenance problem which was stopped by her ex-husband. According to him, Sarwendah is an independent woman who is still able to meet her living needs and pay for her three children.
“What I want to emphasize first, is that once again our client, in this case Sarwendah, is not complaining about things related to livelihood and all kinds, no. Our client is still capable, can still support all his children, his life,” said Chris Sam Siwu in the Cilandak area, South Jakarta, Monday (1/6/2026) evening.

Chris also emphasized that Sarwendah had always worked hard for her children’s future and did not depend on anyone.
“So Sarwendah works hard for her child and she is independent and can earn her own money, she doesn’t need all that,” he stressed.
Regarding Ruben Onsu’s claim that messages to his children were not answered for a month, Chris believes that this cannot be used as a basis for concluding that Sarwendah made it difficult for the father and son to meet. According to him, Ruben should also communicate directly with Sarwendah as a parent who organizes the children’s schedules and activities.
“Now it’s simple, the person being chatted with should be other than the child, who? The mother. It’s the mother who arranges the position, the schedule. But if you never chat with your mother, you never try to come to the house to ask… then suddenly it’s said to be making things difficult. The information from RO’s lawyer or from RO is said to be making things difficult, it doesn’t match the facts, in my opinion it’s misleading,” he said.
Chris challenged Ruben to show evidence that there was indeed a message from Ruben to Sarwendah. He wanted Ruben Onsu to show him a message that Sarwendah didn’t reply to.
“Did you try showing WA to his mother (Sarwendah) and he didn’t reply? I’m sure, today at this time he WAs his mother, he immediately replied the same day. Where do you want to meet, AB’s schedule, that’s called coordination. So the coordination hasn’t been done yet, he immediately shouted that it was difficult. That’s ridiculous, you know,” continued Chris.
“If you don’t reply today, and after another 6 months of WA, it’s not funny. If you come to the house, ‘I want to meet my child’, does it make it difficult? Can you do it through your assistant or lawyer. So it’s not enough effort, but it can be said to be making it difficult,” he explained.

Ruben Onsu stopped providing income to Sarwendah as an act of protest against the difficulty of seeing his children. As a father, Ruben feels that his rights are not being fulfilled.
Minola explained that the termination of income had only been carried out since December 2025. He believes that the public often forgets the magnitude of the financial responsibility that Ruben still bears after the divorce.

“Ruben thought, ‘I continue to pay my obligations even beyond what I should, I can’t get my rights’. He also wanted to show his protest, ‘I can also not carry out my obligations’. And that has only been implemented, starting from December. Yes, until today it’s only been 6 months since I shouted,” said Minola in Tebet, South Jakarta, Sunday (31/5/2026).

Minola revealed that Ruben felt that his rights as a biological father to meet the children had not been carried out according to the agreement. This condition is different from Sarwendah’s lover, Giorgio Antonio.
“Ruben doesn’t feel replaced, just don’t let the portion be unbalanced. The biological father’s portion that has been regulated in the agreement is not implemented for various reasons and various arguments, but people who are not related by blood are given freedom,” he stressed.
Ruben Onsu gave an explanation via video call. He admitted that he had his own way of treating his longing for children.
“I didn’t want to get too low, I just came to the children’s orphanage. You can check that, there are several orphanages that I went to. I wanted there to be a children’s atmosphere. So I came there straight away, I was quite calm, you know,” admitted Ruben Onsu.
