The Cikande Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Serang Police, arrested two men with the initials SMR (25) and SN (24), perpetrators of motor vehicle theft. Both of them are buskers who market stolen goods via WhatsApp status.
“We succeeded in arresting two suspected perpetrators who work as buskers. Their method was offering stolen motorbikes via social media and inviting them to meet at a certain point for transactions,” said Serang Police Chief AKBP Andri Kurniawan, Tuesday (14/4/2026).
The arrest was made after the police became suspicious while carrying out cyber patrols on social media. Officers found the perpetrator’s activities offering Honda Beat motorbikes via the status of the WhatsApp short message application with the Cash on Delivery (COD) system.
On Tuesday (14/4), at around 12.00 WIB, the Cikande Police Resmob team led by Panit III Criminal Investigation Unit Ipda Epriyansah moved to the transaction location in a minimarket parking lot in Cikande Village.
Upon arrival at the location, officers arrested the two perpetrators along with a number of pieces of evidence, namely a red Honda Beat without a license plate which was for sale and a Suzuki RC100 motorbike.
“Officers also confiscated the T key, as well as four cellphones from the two perpetrators,” explained the Police Chief accompanied by the Cikande Police Chief AKP Tatang.
After further investigation, it was discovered that the Honda Beat motorbike was identical to the vehicle that was reported missing in Rengas Tengah Village, Karyasari Village, Cikedal District, Pandeglang, on Tuesday morning at around 04.30 WIB.
Furthermore, the Police Chief added that his party had coordinated with the Pandeglang Police considering that the location of the predicate crime (locus delicti) was in the Pandeglang jurisdiction.
“Considering that the police report (LP) regarding this theft was registered at the Cikedal Police, Pandeglang Police, we have handed over the two perpetrators along with the evidence to the Pandeglang Police investigators for further investigation,” he said.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
